hi chava!
my name is rebecca weiner, and im an aspiring fashion designer. i go to westchester hebrew high school
and in my chumash class yesterday, my best friend Yael Sherman brought in an article about you from the Jewish Post. i always
love hearing about models because theyre in the fashion business as well as i am. (im 16 years old btw, almost 17 so almost
out of high school..then israel for a year! im in LOOOOVE with israel its absolutly incredible and especiialy tzefat bc of
the artists colony!!) but my rabbi, Rabbi Ciner read us the story instead of having class that day. it was Purim also but
we wanted to hear your story so badly. its a wonderful thing that you did. i dont know if you know who Evan And Jaron are,
they had a couple of songs like 2 years ago but they were a big boy band at the time and theyre also ORTHODOX jews. they wouldn't
perfrom on Friday nights or until shabbos was over on sat. eve after sunset. one time, where they were asked to perform on
a Saturday night, they ofcourse decline the offer, and there was a bomb under the stage where they were scheduled to perform.
i also have a friend, Arielle Orbach Smith, and shes an up and coming model absolutly gorgousss.
very tall too. shes the swetest person i know, shes SO humble about her modeling like no1 knows shes even a model!
she invites me to her shows if she has any fashion shows so i can get a "behind the scenes" look
into the business. after the last show, there was a HUGE after party with very famous actors and models like the Cast of the
hit show the OC. ( idk if you know the show, but its HUGE here in America.) and she turned it down bc she had a test the next
day. shes also an avid part of NCSY and USY, different Jewish organizations. shes hopefully coming with me to israel for the
year and then to F.I.T for college in nyc.
anyways, i wish you the best of luck and you really are a trooper and i hope for only the best...chava
you also inspired me that i CAN pursue my fashion career...i hope to have you model my fashions one day too!
